Legacy gift of education for Scott’s Girls
After a courageous 16-year battle with acute and chronic physical and mental pain, my brother Scott Perkins ended his own life. I am forever changed and miss him dearly.
The love of a FAMILY is life’s greatest blessing. His love for his family, laughter and lively exchange of knowledge are gifts that I will cherish in my heart for always. Scott was a great Dad and had a sweet family of his own. I loved seeing him engage and connect with his girls Rayna, Acsa, LeAyna and his wife Sophie. Scott cared deeply about inspiring the hearts and minds of his daughters and wanted them to have all the opportunities that education and preparing for the future can give. This is why we have dedicated ourselves to investing in their future by establishing an Education Fund for Scott’s girls.
On behalf of my sister Rebecca Brown and our parents Tom and Lani Perkins, we invite you to join us in helping contribute to the education fund for Scott’s girls that we hope to grow over the years.
“What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose for all that we love deeply becomes a part of who we are.” Helen Keller
Scott will be in our hearts forever. Visit SummersFuneral.com for a full obituary and memoriam.
Thank you in advance with grace and peace,
Chelsea Wilson, on behalf of the Scott Perkins family

Note about MindfulVibe: Scott always supported me (and teased me) about my never-ending quest for self-discovery and passion for meaningful connection. To that end I established MindfulVibe in 2014, an organization dedicated to this purpose. The loss of my brother has inspired me to re-connect and set up this page as our family’s legacy gift of education for Scott’s girls.
